Who we are
Trillium is an in-house specialist Telecommunication and Electronic Engineering Design and Consulting company providing design, testing and regulatory compliance services in highly regulated industries in the Australian and International markets.
Our History
Established in 1996, Trillium was born from a background in Telecom Australia, Telstra and private industries at a time when today’s legacy technologies were either new or emerging. This has given Trillium a powerful understanding of not only how things are, but deep insight into how and why they came to be. Over time, Trillium’s exposure has taken us through electronic and acoustic design and compliance activities ranging from the humble telephone to modern-day call centres.
The merger of Trillium Technology Pty Ltd with Cyntila Pty Ltd in 2018 provided an enormous expansion of Trillium’s expertise, with exposure to the hardware and software of fibre and wireless technologies used to create industrial grade data switches used typically in the private networks of the public utilities, industrial and mining sectors.
To this day, Trillium is a contributing and voting member of the working committees that establish and maintain many of Australia’s present-day telecommunications standards.
